Designed for intermediate users, this course, offered Oct. 27, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at LLCC-Litchfield, focuses on advanced formatting, date and financial functions, conditional logic and formula auditing. Participants will learn to use tools such as Scenario Manager, Goal Seek, VLOOKUP and nested IF statements, enabling more sophisticated data analysis and spreadsheet functionality. Registration is $169.

Designed for professionals with some prior experience using AI tools, this hands-on workshop, offered Oct. 30, 9 a.m. to noon at LLCC-Litchfield, focuses on how to write stronger prompts and get better results. Participants learn practical strategies for improving clarity, refining outputs and using structured prompting techniques to support writing, analysis and problem-solving. Through guided practice and real-world examples, they build skills that help make AI output more useful, reliable and relevant on the job. Registration is $129.

A full day of Halloween fun, from the block party to the parade to the trick-or-treating. The block party is from 9 am to 1:00 pm along State Street. Parade starts at 4:00 pm. Trick-or-Treating begins after the parade and continues until 9 pm.
