The HSHS St. Francis Auxiliary will sponsor a drive-thru dinner to support the hospital's Family Maternity Center.

This beginner-level course, offered Sept. 15, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at LLCC-Litchfield, introduces participants to Microsoft Excel's core functions, including spreadsheet navigation, data entry, formatting, basic formulas and chart creation. Learners will build foundational skills for organizing, calculating and visually presenting data while also exploring tools such as AutoFill, sorting, filtering and worksheet management.

Registration deadline is September 7th!

Litchfield will celebrate 100 Years of Route 66 on Saturday, October 10, 2026! Take a tour of Litchfield’s piece of the Mother Road and visit local vendors, classic cars, music, food, exhibits, magic, and more at stops along Route 66. Featured stops include:

Victory Lane: Vendors and BBQ from 10 AM–4 PM, with music on stage from 11 AM–1 PM and 2–4 PM. A magician will perform at 1 PM.
Historic Ariston Cafe & Jubelt’s Bakery & Cafe: Grab lunch and enjoy two pieces of Litchfield history.

Farmersville, IL, is kicking off fall with its “Kickin’ on Route 66 Fun Fest” on October 10! Enjoy a full day of family-friendly fun, including bounce houses, kids’ activities, a classic car display, a photo booth, and free giveaways at the Farmersville-Waggoner Library Route 66. There will be caricatures sponsored by Real Family Medicine from 11 a.m.–3 p.m., a magician and balloon artist from 1–4 p.m., and live music in the park from 9 a.m.–noon and again from 1–4 p.m. And, of course, there will be plenty of delicious food! Illuminates will be serving pork chops, burgers, and hot dogs; the Zion Lutheran ELCA Ladies will have desserts; Littletown Ice Shed will be serving shaved ice and more; and The Caddyshack will be serving its signature ponyshoe topped with award-winning cheese sauce.
