Our Schools

The five School Districts based in Montgomery County offer our youth a full curriculum of educational opportunities that are second to none. From Pre-K through High School, we consistently deliver high scores on our annual achievement testing. Litchfield has opened two new elementary school buildings, and Hillsboro has a new high school building well underway.

Partners In Education

We are a proud partner of Lincoln Land Community College which has a satellite campus in Litchfield. LLCC offers our region a wide range of associate degree classes from secondary school to adult continuing education. Lincoln Land also offers many of our regional districts dual credit certification classes for high school juniors and seniors.

New to Montgomery County is the SCI Prairie Works – A trades-oriented work path innovation and development center launched to enhance job creation and add value to our regional industries. Located adjacent to LLCC, the SCI Center serves nine regional school districts with hands-on learning and certification programs in automotive technology, welding, building trades, and CMT.
