We value each member of the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation. Our members have joined together to build awareness of the opportunities that Montgomery County is a safe, wholesome environment for families to enjoy and grow in our smaller cities and country communities.

We welcome you to join the MCEDC. Memberships are available for individuals as well as businesses and non-profit organizations.

Our job is to assist you in developing your dream with us. In the web pages that follow, you will learn more about our education, healthcare, entertainment, and athletics.

We encourage entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes. We believe that entrepreneurship can change lives and communities. We share a shop-local attitude and have existing community storefronts and space available for your business plans. The MCEDC is available to help you find grants that can help support your start-up vision.

Steps To Become A Member

â€Ē To join the corporation, you must first decide whether you want to be eligible to serve of the board of directors. If you want to be eligible to serve on the board, then you join as a Governing Member in the category (ex. Business Industry Class B or Individual) that fits your interest.

â€Ē If you are not interested in serving on the board but want to be involved in the corporation’s activities and receive membership benefits, then join as an Associate Member in the category that fits your interest. Complete the membership application and enclose your check for your first year of dues and mail it to the Corporation treasurer.

â€Ē You will receive a confirmation letter stating your membership application and dues or the first year have been received. The letter will include information on the next meeting of the corporation that all members are welcome to attend.

â€Ē All members will receive regular information on grants that are available to communities, organizations, and businesses. Municipal members have the option of requesting assistance in applying for one grant each year- free of charge. All members will be engaged in developing the Corporation’s annual program of work ad four-year strategic plan.

  â€Ē (Financial Institutions, Organizations with Memberships Greater than 500 people in the county)

â€Ē Business and Industry Class B
  â€Ē (50 or more employees)

â€Ē Business and Industry Class C
  â€Ē (Less than 50 employees)

â€Ē Individual
  â€Ē (Annual dues pad by personal accounts, not business accounts)
