The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity founded in 2004 with the purpose:
To increase the economic standard of living and quality of life in Montgomery County by providing educational opportunities and additional support to the general public and businesses.
Strong economic development starts with empowering people and businesses to succeed. At MCEDC, we equip our members with education, leadership, and practical resources that support growth.
Every program, partnership, and initiative we launch is designed to strengthen our local economy by attracting new businesses, supporting existing ones, creating jobs, and shaping a thriving future for Montgomery County.
Together with our members, we are building a stronger Montgomery County that offers opportunity, prosperity, and a high quality of life for generations to come.

Business
We maintain current data and analysis of county economic and social trends develop and maintain an inventory of available business and industrial sites. We package business and industry recruitment materials. Our efforts recruit businesses and residents to Montgomery County.
Communities
We apply for and administer grants (When requested by communities), and raise funds from existing businesses, communities, industry and individuals to support community and economic development efforts.
Members
We involve members in developing an annual program of work and drafting a four-year strategic plan, and MCEDC may engage in other activities as deemed appropriate by the board of directors, to implement the annual program of work and 4-year strategic plan.
