Farmersville, IL, is kicking off fall with its “Kickin’ on Route 66 Fun Fest” on October 10! Enjoy a full day of family-friendly fun, including bounce houses, kids’ activities, a classic car display, a photo booth, and free giveaways at the Farmersville-Waggoner Library Route 66. There will be caricatures sponsored by Real Family Medicine from 11 a.m.–3 p.m., a magician and balloon artist from 1–4 p.m., and live music in the park from 9 a.m.–noon and again from 1–4 p.m. And, of course, there will be plenty of delicious food! Illuminates will be serving pork chops, burgers, and hot dogs; the Zion Lutheran ELCA Ladies will have desserts; Littletown Ice Shed will be serving shaved ice and more; and The Caddyshack will be serving its signature ponyshoe topped with award-winning cheese sauce.

The Kiwanis Club of Litchfield meets monthly on the third Monday of each month at HSHS St. Francis in the Hospital Boardroom. This meeting is open to the public and all are welcome to attend!
